Another great show from around the state of Alabama this week. First, we go to the Mobile Delta with Captain Wayne Miller. It sounds like the shrimp are moving in earlier than normal, which means the fish are turning on! Next, we head up to Smith Lake with first-time guest Brent Crow. The dog days of summer are still very real in Smith Lake, and daytime fishing is a struggle, but we know the fall bite is right around the corner. We finish up today with a crappie report from Weiss Lake with Lee Pitts. The crappie sound like the bass in Smith Lake and are hard to catch right now. Lee can still go out catch 15-20 fish in the morning, but like the rest of us, he is looking forward to the fall!
